Articles of Impeachment Have Been Filed Against Donald Trump
Trump's actions against Iran have led to an impeachment filing.

Articles of impeachment have been filed against US President Donald Trump over his actions against Iran.
The articles of impeachment have been filed by Democratic congressman John B. Larson.
Articles of Impeachment Filed by Rep. Larson
According to the announcement made by Larson's office, the congressman is calling for the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment as Trump continues "his illegal war and threatens to annihilate an entire civilization."
"Donald Trump has blown past every requirement to be removed from office. And it's getting worse," said Larson. "His illegal war in Iran is not only driving up prices for American families — it has cost American lives."
"He's becoming more unstable by the day. His profane and sacrilegious Easter Sunday and subsequent threats, including 'a whole civilization will die' and 'open the Strait...or you'll be living in hell' not only foreshadow war crimes, but put our security at risk," he added.
Larson also took a swipe at the Republicans in his statement, saying that they "have so far failed to uphold their constitutional responsibility to initiate impeachment proceedings."
What is the 25th Amendment?
Invoking the 25th Amendment is one of the ways that Trump can be removed from office, 9News notes in its report.
The 25th Amendment requires the vice president, JD Vance, as well as majority of the cabinet to determine if Trump is not able to do his job.
It does not stop there as Congress would then have to vote within 48 hours. Two-thirds vote in both chambers is needed to remove Trump from office.
It is understood that many Democrats are campaigning for the 25th Amendment to be invoked.
"If Trump's cabinet had one shred of integrity left, they'd immediately invoke the 25th amendment and take the nuclear codes away from the madman sitting in the Oval Office," Congressman Jim McGovern said.
Congresswoman Lauren Underwood called Trump "unstable, dangerous, and unable to function as Commander in Chief."
"His illegal war in Iran needs to end, and he must be removed immediately," Underwood explained. "It's time to invoke the 25th Amendment."
