American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr may have to find another way to get under the skin of Filipino eight-division title holder Manny Pacquiao.

This is because Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez have told Mayweather to stop using his video to taunt Pacquiao as his excuse for not fighting the boxer who gave American boxer Chris Algieri his first defeat. Some boxing fans believe that Mayweather actually fears Pacquiao, a southpaw, because if they meet on the ring, his dream of retiring in 2015 with no loss could be in danger.

Marquez said, quoted by ESPN Deportes, "Floyd should stop posting videos and photos of me knocking out Manny."

He said, "He should fight him first, prove he is the best not just talk but beat the man considered the best pound-for-pound [fighter] for years, Manny Pacquiao."

Marquez said that if the dream match takes place and Mayweather beats Pacquiao, "only then can he post whatever he wants."

The boxing world is divided who is a better fighter between Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Some experts point to Mayweather's 0 loss record as proof, but fight analyst David Phillips believes otherwise. He said in Sweet Science that Pacquiao's punches has higher volume. Phillips added that Money May could dodge most of Pacquiao's punches, but judges would likely give more points to the latter's aggression and activity than the former's dodging prowess.

Another point in favour of the Filipino boxer is that he has done extremely well against boxers whom Mayweather had beaten. Pacquiao won over Oscar dela Hoya in 8 rounds, while Mayweather won by split decision. Pacquiao KOed Ricky Hatton in 2 rounds, but Mayweather took 10 rounds. Pacquiao also won by Technical KO versus Miguel Cotto, while Money May won by unanimous decision.

Phillips concluded, "Floyd's just never seen anything like Manny before. A quick drawing, powerful volume puncher, who is both highly skilled and highly unorthodox. He will be challenged."
