WWE is set to return to Saudi Arabia later this year with its fourth edition of the Crown Jewel.

The premium live event will be the eighth show in the WWE Company's 10-year-deal with Saudi Arabia in support of Saudi Vision 2030. The first event was held in November 2018, the second in October 2019 and the third in October 2021. All of them took place in Riyadh.

On the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Corey Graves announced that WWE would hold the 2022 edition of WWE Crown Jewel on Nov. 5 in Riyadh, according to Wrestling World. The venue and start time of the event are yet to be announced.

Crown Jewel 2022 will be held around three weeks before the Survivor Series, which is scheduled to take place on Nov. 22. Before that, WWE will travel to the U.K.

Last year's WWE Crown Jewel was a history-making event in a number of ways. It hosted the first-ever Queen's Crown Tournament, which was won by Zelina Vega. It also had the first Hell in a Cell match to be held in Saudi Arabia and was also the first match in the country to be officiated by a woman. The event also featured the first WWE pay-per-view bout between two Muslim competitors when Mansoor took on Mustafa Ali.

Earlier this year, WWE's Elimination Chamber took place in Saudi Arabia. Bianca Belair won the women's version of the Elimination Chamber and bagged a chance at the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 38. Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship when he triumphed in the men's version of the chamber match.

Less than two months later, Lesnar participated in WrestleMania 38 only to lose his title. In a "Title vs. Title" fight, Roman Reigns defeated the Beast Incarnate to become the undisputed WWE and Universal Champion.

It was earlier reported that even though Reigns' new contract suggests fewer working days, the Tribal Chief was added to the lineup for an upcoming event under the brand SmackDown.

How to watch Crown Jewel 2022?

The online streaming of the WWE Crown Jewel will be available on WWE Network and Peacock. While there is a free tier of the WWE Network available, the pay-per-views require a paid subscription. The network has two subscription options for U.S. viewers – one for $4.99 and a premium ad-free version for $9.99.
