Charles Oliveira delivered a masterclass in grappling and control Saturday night, overwhelming Max Holloway with relentless takedowns and ground dominance to win a unanimous decision and capture the UFC's BMF title at UFC 326.

The main event at T-Mobile Arena saw Oliveira, a former lightweight champion, shut out the Hawaiian fan favorite across five rounds. All three judges scored the bout 50-45 in favor of Oliveira, who improved to 37-11 (1 NC) while Holloway fell to 27-9. Oliveira wept with emotion as the result was announced, marking one of the most lopsided victories in recent BMF title history.

The fight, billed as a rematch of their 2015 encounter that Oliveira won by decision, lived up to its hype as a clash of fan favorites. Holloway, defending the BMF belt he won in his epic war with Justin Gaethje at UFC 300, came in with momentum from his knockout of Ilia Topuria earlier in the year. But Oliveira's evolved wrestling proved decisive.

Oliveira secured multiple takedowns in every round, controlling position and neutralizing Holloway's striking threat. The Brazilian landed significant ground-and-pound while avoiding damage on the feet. Holloway, known for his iron chin and high-volume output, struggled to get back to his range and landed few clean shots.

"Charles was incredible tonight," UFC CEO Dana White said post-fight. "He showed why he's one of the most dangerous fighters in the world. That grappling was suffocating."

The victory positions Oliveira for potential lightweight title contention or further BMF defenses, though he expressed interest in rematches and bigger challenges.

The co-main event featured middleweight contender Caio Borralho bouncing back from his first UFC loss with a dominant unanimous decision over Reinier de Ridder. Borralho controlled the pace with striking and wrestling, earning 30-27 scores across the board. Post-fight, Borralho called out middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis for a title shot.

In a bantamweight showcase, rising star Raul Rosas Jr. outworked veteran Rob Font with relentless takedowns — reportedly 16 in total — to win a unanimous decision (30-27 x3). The 21-year-old Rosas improved his UFC record while Font dropped to 20-8 in the promotion.

Lightweight veteran Drew Dober delivered a highlight-reel finish, knocking out Michael Johnson with a devastating left hand at 1:53 of the second round. Dober, now with 27 UFC wins, celebrated with his signature enthusiasm.

Middleweight Gregory Rodrigues avenged a prior loss with a brutal first-round knockout of Brunno Ferreira. Rodrigues landed a straight right that dropped "Hulk" at 1:47, earning Fight of the Night honors in some fan circles.

Prelims saw Cody Garbrandt rebound with a unanimous decision over Xiao Long in bantamweight action, while other undercard bouts delivered decisions and submissions.

UFC 326 drew strong viewership on Paramount+, with the card featuring a mix of veterans and prospects. No major injuries were reported immediately post-event, though Holloway's chin held up despite the pressure.

The event capped a busy early 2026 for UFC, following February's Volkanovski rematch and other Fight Nights. Upcoming cards include UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs. Vallejos on March 14 in Las Vegas and international stops in London and Seattle later in the month.

Oliveira's performance reignited talks of his place among the lightweight greats, especially after recent setbacks. Holloway, despite the loss, remains a fan favorite with his warrior spirit intact.

As the octagon lights dimmed in Las Vegas, Oliveira stood as the new BMF champion, proving once again that his blend of submissions, striking and now elite wrestling makes him a perpetual threat.
