Football giants Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United are alerted after Bayern Munich ace playmaker Mario Gotze revealed his intention to play outside of Germany.

The 22-year-old, who scored the only goal in the World Cup final to clinch the title for Die Mannschaft in Brazil, has virtually spent his entire career in the Bundesliga, thus far, coming through the youth ranks at Borussia Dortmund before cementing his name as one of the younger superstars in Europe.

He was linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu during the 2013/14 summer transfer window, while Stamford Bridge and Old Trafford were also in the mix. However, with the installation of Pep Guardiola as successor to Jupp Heynckes as Die Roten boss, the Allianz Arena was where he really felt he could thrive.

"I am very, very happy to be playing at Bayern, in Germany," the Memmingen native told German outlet Bild.

"But I might play for another 14 years, and a move abroad would certainly not be bad."

"A foreign country would also be tempting for someone of my personality."

"But, I have not given it serious thought yet."
