Teresa Giudice's brother, Joe Gorga, got emotional when he learned that the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star was engaged to her boyfriend.

In a new interview, Gorga opened up about his 49-year-old sister's relationship milestone with now-fiancé Luis Ruelas, 46, who popped the question Tuesday.

"I’m so excited. I’m so happy for her," the 42-year-old real estate developer told Us Weekly Thursday, adding that he cried when he heard the happy news.

Gorga continued, "[Luis] came in like what she needed. She needed that Superman to come in and take her life and fix it, and that’s what he’s doing. I always said she needed a beast of a man, and he is one of them."

Giudice and Ruelas got engaged Tuesday while vacationing in Greece. The businessman's proposal included candles, roses, a violinist and fireworks, according to Us Weekly.

While they went Instagram official last fall, the couple later revealed that they had started dating in July 2020. To mark their first anniversary together in July, the Bravo reality star shared on Instagram sweet photos of them as well as a touching tribute for her beau.

"A year, wow I would have never imagined how in one year I would feel so loved. You are so kind, supportive and loving. You take great care and consideration in everything you do. You have shown my girls so much love, I adore you," Giudice wrote in the caption.

Gorga is glad that his older sister has found someone who makes her happy.

"He's living up to everything he's talking about, so I'm just so happy that they're in love. She's ecstatic. She loves him. She’s really, really happy. She always wanted to be loved, like, really loved, and he loves her," he told the outlet, adding that Ruelas told him in advance that he was planning to propose.

The "RHONJ" star was previously married to Joe Giudice for 20 years before the exes called it quits in December 2019. Their divorce was finalized in September last year.

The exes share daughters Gia, 20, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 15, and Audriana, 12.

Meanwhile, Ruelas has two sons from a previous relationship. He founded a company called Digital Media Solutions, whose website describes him as an "avid philanthropist" who has raised "thousands" for children in need.

"A father of two sons, Luis spends a great deal of time advocating for children with special needs with a particular focus on Autism given his son’s condition," the website read.
