Glee star, Lea Michelle has recently admitted “life being difficult” following the untimely death of her beau Cory Monteith. But the star has summoned up some strength to make a brave front for her first public appearance at the Teen Choice Awards 2013 on August 11, 2013. She impressed fans and critics when she accepted the award for Choice TV Actress in Comedy and touched their hearts when she dedicated the win to Cory, clearly calculating self not to shed some tears.

"I just wanted to be here today, to personally thank all of you and tell everyone out there how much all of your love and support has meant to me over these past very difficult few weeks," Lea said as she accepted the award, according to E! Online.

Earlier a source was interviewed by People Magazine, describing her daily struggles since Cory's death.

"Every day is so hard. Just getting up in the morning means remembering that Cory is gone," PEOPLE magazine reported citing a source close to Monteith girlfriend and Glee co-star.

The source declared: "It's incredibly painful."

Lea has been described as struggling everyday since Cory was found dead at a Canada hotel on July 13, 2013. But the source pointed out that the Glee star is a strong soul and has been determined to get up and face her loss.

"It's a struggle. She is incredibly strong, but that doesn't make it easier," the source added, said PEOPLE.

But Leah is set out to attend the TCA Sunday at Gibson Theater with reports that the award giving body has decided to pay tribute to TV hunk Cory. She is also nominated for Choice Female Actress for Comedy. Meanwhile, it is also reported that all cast members of the popular musical TV show will be joining Lea to attend the TCA in Los Angeles, California.

Glee has received multiple nominations and the group has reunited to share with fans what could be one of the most touching moments at the awards night.
