Justin Bieber created hype with the release of “What Do You Mean” after several celebrities joined him to promote the song on Instagram. Now, for his new single “Sorry,” the Canadian singer has received the support of a very prominent personality. U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama participated in a short video to promote “Sorry” as Bieber took to his Instagram page to tease some lyrics to the song.

“Sorry” was previewed in Obama’s video for her “Better Make Room” initiative. In the Vine video shared by King Bach on his Twitter page, the First Lady of the United States, whom Bach calls FLOTUS, as well as some well-dressed people, are seen laughing and exchanging high-fives when Bach suddenly shows up underdressed. Dressed in a pair of basketball shorts and a tank top, Bach slides into the scene to the surprise of Obama and her group.

“Better make room,” Bach says. “Ok a little underdressed,” he adds, after he sees his companions dressed in formal outfits and after Obama gives him a disapproving look. Bieber’s voice is heard singing “It’s alright to say sorry now” in the background as Bach moonwalks his way out of the room.

Bach captioned the video with “When you show up underdressed,” along with the hash tags #BetterMakeRoom and #Sorry4days. He also tagged Bieber and Obama in his post. The video was shared on Twitter on Monday, and it has since received over 24,000 retweets and 27,000 favourites.

Meanwhile, Bieber has also been promoting the song on his Instagram page. The singer has posted photos of himself holding up signs showing the number of days before “Sorry” gets released, much like what he did with “What Do You Mean.”

As a preview to his new song in his “Purpose” album, the 21-year-old sang a few lines of the acoustic version of “Sorry.” He shared a video of him singing the song on his Instagram account, and his post has since received 846,000 likes.

“Is it too late now to say sorry… missing more than your body yeah…” Bieber sang as his male friend strummed the guitar.
