"The Hunger Games" star cast has come together and this time it is not for the next sequel of the movie but for a very important health issue -- to spread awareness about Ebola virus and its outbreak. Actress Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth got together to clear the misconceptions about Ebola outbreak. Released on Monday, the public service announcement was made by the Ebola Survival Fund that is founded by actor Jeffrey Wright, who plays Beetee in the "The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1." Wright also works with various agencies for the treatment of the disease.

The J Law starrer two-minute video opens with news clips from major channels like Fox News and BBC that are talking about the outbreak of the deadly virus. The video, which has been made in support of the Ebola Survival Fund, then reveals the worldwide statistics of the disease. From Dec 16, 2013, there have been reportedly 19,648 confirmed Ebola cases worldwide and 19,643 of them were reported in West Africa alone, says the video. Eight American patients, who received the treatment in the United States, have survived the disease in spite of the fact that in some parts of West Africa Ebola patients have a 20 per cent survival rate, Hemsworth reveals in the video.

Wright notes that the world is facing the largest outbreak of Ebola in the history but the most affected countries are Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Lawrence makes an apperance to tell that many doctors in West Africa lost their lives while treating Ebola patients. She also says that West Africa needs more doctors to survive the disease. "They didn't have a lot to begin with. Liberia has 50 doctors for 4.4 million people," says actor Josh Hutcherson.

The video would not have been complete without some silliness from Lawrence. Liam asks the actress what would happen if she gets affected with Ebola. "I'd be fine," quips the 22-year-old Oscar winning actress after a long pause. Other "Hunger Games" stars in the black and white video include Mahershala Ali and Julianne Moore.
