Homeland lead actor, Damian Lewis knows where he is going to end up when caught, but he is uncertain where he will be or if he wants to live! Those are some Season 3 explosive premiere spoilers Carrie Mathison’s love, Sgt. Nicholas Brody told AccessHollywood.com.

Nick Brody fears he will end up in “chair” having been implicated in the massive terrorist attacks at the Season 2 finale of Showtime’s hit series. With enough evidence to pin him down and no back up to prove otherwise, Brody reiterated he’s facing life.

“But, honestly, at this point, if he’s caught, he’s going to the chair. There is so much overwhelming evidence against him and there is such a great need for a scapegoat and for the CIA to make a recovery, and for the US President, that fictional President who is there at the White House at the time, to make a recovery [and] bring someone to justice,” Damian told AccessHollywood.com.

He needs all the help he can get but he’s not telling if he’s going to have them.

Damian also noted that above all, Brody thinks of his family.

“Uppermost in his mind is his family, always,” he said.

But what about Carrie? Carrie Mathison plays a big role in his life as the returning war veteran hero turn suspected terrorist. Carrie, played by Claire Daines, helped Nick at the last season finale by finding ways to get him out of the country.

Nick hinted that Carrie is off her meds as Season 3 returns. The first video teaser for Season 3 shows many scenes with Carrie crying herself to death. Can she depend on her now?

“Carrie is always sitting on her own personal ticking bomb and it’s just an impossible dilemma because she is not great on the meds and she’s even worse off of them,” Damian added.

With the video confession of Brody flashed on every TV station in the U.S. following the attacks, there sure has no way out but disappear until he’s got enough evidence to prove that he was innocent of the terrorist attack during the funeral service of Vice President Finn Walden. The explosion left 200 people dead, including CIA’s top officials like David Estes (David Harewood.)

The damaged caused by the explosion left Brody helpless, and Damian said, his character does not even know where to go or if he wants to live.

“There are points in Season 3 where you will question whether Brody does want to live,” Damian also said, according to AccessHollywood.com.

Damian attended the Television Critics Association Summer Tour in Beverly Hills on Monday.

Showtime’s Homeland Season 3 premieres at 9 p.m. ET, Sept. 29, 2013.
