Faulty Incubator at Chinese Hospital Burns Newborn Baby to Death (PHOTOS)

Police authorities are now investigating the administration, management and staff personnel of Quanzhou Children's Hospital in Quanzhou, Fujian province, in China's south eastern coast after one of its faulty incubators burned a newly born 12-day-old baby to death.
Local media outlets lifted pictures from Sina Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, showing a scorched baby face down and lying on its tummy on a blanket. The newborn's back was left uncovered and from there one can see the severity of the burns and imagine the horrendous and painful ordeal the baby underwent in just an overnight in the Chinese hospital.
The baby's back and little legs were burned to a dark brown and red, closely resembling a burnt charcoal log.
Reports insinuated the family was aware that the baby was placed in the incubator on Tuesday overnight because the tiny angel had a cold.
When the baby's father, Ye Yilong, came back to check on his child on Wednesday, a burnt baby was all he had.
Both parents and other concerned citizens theorised that the child was placed in an incubator that was turned up too high.
Hospital staff, including ward nurses, continued to refuse to speak to the local Chinese media.
It is not yet determined if the parents will file charges against the hospital administration, management and staff. But the hospital has so far shunned responsibility for the baby's death, according to Chinese news site Guiyang News.
What's disturbing, however, was that all surveillance footage from that tragic night has apparently been deleted, according to Biejingcream.com.
