Faraday Future, an electric car startup unveiled the revolutionary FFZERO1, the single-seat concept of all-electric car at the CES 2016. This innovative car concept has the potential to become the future rival to the Tesla Model S or Model X.

The car can be integrated with the driver’s smartphone which helps in remote vehicle set-up. Such customised configuration will enhance real time data visualisation and interaction, boasts Faraday Future.

The combined power of four electric motors delivers a whopping 1,000 horsepower, enabling the car to go up from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds. The top speed of the car is 200 mph. The driver sits at a 45-degree angle which is inspired by NASA zero gravity design. This allows a sense of weightlessness, improves blood circulation and reduces fatigue.

Faraday Future’s concept car also makes use of a fighter-pilot-inspired helmet that delivers oxygen and water to its sole occupant. The unique bodywork touts "aero-tunnels" which gives it a super stylish look. The car concept features advanced high performance racing suspension and advanced vehicle dynamic control

According to a report in Wired, the car concept will be built on“variable platform architecture.” This will allow Faraday to produce a variety of models with different engine options. This includes an all-wheel drive, front-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive configurations.

Faraday Future which was founded just 18 months ago now has over 750 employees including design head Richard Kim, known for designing BMW’s i8 and i3 electric cars. The company promises to come up with its first vehicle in next two years, reports Carscoops.

The car concept is backed by Chinese Internet billionaire Jia Yueting . It has also signed a US$1 billion deal to build a factory in North Las Vegas.
