Sacramento Kings main man DeMarcus Cousins took an indirect shot at former teammate Isaiah Thomas, implying that the flashy point guard "overdribbled."

Holding on the ball for too long is more of a drawback rather than an advantage in the modern game, as it makes the offense more predictable and easier to defend, hence, making life easier for the opposing team.

With Darren Collison and Ramon Sessions set to run the show at the Sleep Train Arena, Cousins couldn't help but notice the fluidity on the offensive end that will definitely help his side in improving their thirteenth place finish last season in the tough western conference.

"It's been incredible. It's been a smooth transition. The ball is moving a lot better. It's not stuck in one place," said the FIBA World Cup gold medalist.

"It's not being overdribbled by anybody on the floor."
