Seven teams are undefeated thus far in the 2013 NFL regular season but none as dominant as the Denver Broncos. The visiting Philadelphia Eagles hope to stop the Broncos streak and in the process snap out of back-to-back losses Sunday afternoon at Mile High City.

Denver's three wins have been via convincing blowouts. Home wins vs. the Baltimore Ravens (49-27) and the Oakland Raiders (37-21) and a road victory over the New York Giants, 41-23. The +56 points differential is the second highest combined total differential in three games this season. Seattle’s +59 points differential is ranked number one.

The most obvious factor in the Broncos’ streak is none other than the play of star Peyton Manning. The 38-year-old quarterback has 12 passing touchdowns in three games, an NFL record. Manning has yet to throw an interception as well.

Somewhat overlooked in Denver’s feat is the consistent effort in containing their opponents’ ground game. The Broncos limit the opposition to 43.0 rushing yards per game, the best defensive mark in this category for this season.

However, Denver’s defense on the air leaves much to be desired: they give up 327 passing yards per game, which only ranks 30th overall in the entire NFL.

The Broncos rush defense will be challenged to the hilt by the Eagles, who are the best so far in the running game. Philadelphia averages 209.0 rushing yards per game led by LeSean McCoy's 395 yards (62 carries). Michael Vick is another obvious threat with 187 rushing yards on 19 carries.
