The Nexus 10 2 continues to be a rumor. As we move to 2014, all eyes are set toward the Samsung-made Nexus 10 2014 edition or Nexus 10 2 with updated specs and new look for this new year.

In 2013, Google upgraded the Nexus 7 and launched the Nexus 5 but offering only an Android 4.4.2 upgrade to the Nexus 10. For the latter part of 2013, rumors said the Nexus 10 2 launch was coming, along with a couple of high-profile leaks claiming Google would go for a quiet and fast Nexus 10 2 release on Cyber Monday.

These dates passed by with not a single Nexus 10 2 shadow but rumours still persist of a holiday release that ultimately did not also arrive. Now that everyone is sitting on the edge of the biggest consumer electronics show in the U.S., brand new rumors emerge again.

According to DigiTimes, Google and Samsung are planning to join the host of new gadgets at CES with its Nexus 10 2 announcement. Speculations also suggested the Nexus 10 2 will use a Super AMOLED display like a lot of other Samsung devices. The Web site reported leaks and gossips from supply chain manufacturers in Asia.

Google will be present at CES 2014 in a small room where it will meet with partners and media. But the company doesn't seem to plan a big presence at the event. Meanwhile, Samsung usually takes over a big portion of the event, which is where Nexus 10 2 would likely be displayed if it is announced by then.

Samsung will hold a press conference Monday, 2 p.m. Pacific time. This will be a 45-minute show where Samsung will showcase its latest smartphone and tablet technology, coming with a wide variety of other Samsung-made gadgets. This is likely the time Samsung will announce the Nexus 10 2.
