Google announced several smartphones to run on the latest Android One platform. This includes Micromax Canvas A1, Spice Dream Uno and the Karbonn Sparkle V. The smartphones were made to push the use of smartphones to developing countries.

Since these phones will be sold out at the same specs and price, we will compare it with each other to narrow down the choices and lessen the dilemma of those that are planning to buy an Android One smartphone.

These phones will have 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display. These devices will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processors with 1GB of RAM, 4GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via micro SD. The phones will sport 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing cameras, FM radio and a 1,700 mAH battery capacity. For the connectivity, all three phones will have dual SIM support, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and these phones will run on Android 4.4 Kitkat.

When it comes to colour choices, Karbonn Sparkle V offers more since it will be available in Magnum Blue, Mild Grey, Wild Red and Pearl White while the other two are available in either black or white. The Micromax Canvas A1 seems to be the most stunning among the three especially if it comes in magnetic black. The Spice Dream Uno offers a simple yet subtle design.

All three phones have the same specs and it will battle on the looks. It will depend on the personal taste of the user to decide on which among the three smartphones is the best. These phones first launched in India but according to The Verge, it will also be available in the Philippines, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal before the year ends. In the near future, users can expect brands like Acer, Alcatel OneTouch, Asus, HTC Intex, Lava, Lenovo, Panasonic and Xolo to release more Android One smartphones, according to Google.

This will allow more people to avail the service of Google. However, Google has not announced any plans of launching Android One handsets in the west, but the company also did not announce all of the possibilities yet.
