Manchester United attacker Ashley Young is excited with the arrival of Angel di Maria from Real Madrid.

The two played alongside each other against Burnley on Saturday, and despite coming out with a disappointing draw, the England international sees the promise that the Argentine brings.

"He's definitely a great signing,"the 29-year-old former Aston Villa man told the club's official website.

"Angel is a fantastic signing. Real Madrid have other top players in their team like [Gareth] Bale and [Cristiano] Ronaldo but he's the one who stood out for me in that team. "

"When you add quality to a squad that already has quality it can only help us."

"We saw in his first couple of days [in training] just how good a player Angel is and what we can expect from him."

He further disclosed that it will not take long until Di Maria will be able to show the stuff that he is made of, as chemistry is not a problem for the Rosario native.

"People will probably ask how Angel will adapt but he's fitted in straight away," he added.
