Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers revealed that star signing Mario Balotelli is settling fine at Anfield after moving in from AC Milan barely a week.

The Italian international could be a steal signing for the Merseysiders at £16million, should he get his act together and play to his full potential.

"Mario is fine and has settled in very well, but the focus is on his football," he said.

"Balotelli is a class act. He is moving to Merseyside. But it's not the Balotelli show. The star of this team will always be the team."

The 24-year-old joined Inter in 2006 after a failed trial with FC Barcelona, helping them win three scudetti and a Champions League crown, most of them under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.

An unsuccessful stopover at Manchester City, which was marred with on and off-pitch controversies, saw his market value take a drastic drop.

In any case, this may seem to be his final chance to show the world that he can be Mario Balotelli.
