Jose Mourinho, Chelsea manager believes there is a movement directed against Chelsea to have his players wrongfully punished. This statement was founded when Chelsea was punished for the dives which happened right after the 1-1 Premier League draw between Chelsea and Southampton.

On Sunday, Eden Hazard cancelled out Southampton's opener, Sadio Mane. Thereafter, referee Anthony Taylor booked Cesc Fabregas after the latter went down under challenged by Matthew Targett during the second half. However, the television replays would show otherwise and would not have ended up Fabregas getting booked. It was clearly replayed on TV how Targett made contact with Fabregas after slipping.

According to Mourinho, this was not the only mistake and diving incident which would prove his claim about the "campaign" against Chelsea. Apparently, Diego Costa has had the same booking incident against Burnley on the season's opening weekend. In the same manner that Gary Cahill was not punished when he toppled in an eye-catching manner turf after Chelsea drove a 2-0 home win against Hull City. The Chelsea coach was confused why Cahill was never penalised for it, and has admitted that people do make mistakes and with such incident, it was a big one.

To support his claim about the campaign against Chelsea, Mourinho laid out a history of mistakes. First off was when Diego got a yellow card instead of a red, plus a penalty at Burnley. Second, Fabregas got a yellow card. For Mourinho, this is unbelievable and further noted that if a team receives a penalty, the odds are, they will win. Getting a penalty and a yellow card at the same time is misplaced. Yellow cards are stimulating for the team according to Mourinho, and these are bad yellow cards. While not all of these yellow cards may support his "campaign" claim, Mourinho pushed his point by speaking about crucial decisions.

Mourinho, who doesn't honestly know who is behind the "campaign" reiterated that one thing is for sure, the "campaign" is not targeted against him but against Chelsea. Nevertheless, Mourinho, after Chelsea topped the Premier League charts, cannot conceal his delight for his players.
