HTC has just launched its new HTC Desire smartphone, but it seems that the company have not had enough yet because it sent out invitations for its Oct. 8 event that will take place in New York City. Although, it did not mention what product it intends to unveil, most anticipated that HTC will most likely unveil an update on the camera of its HTC One M8 smartphone. The invitation shows a tagline "Double Exposure" and it shows two women holding a smartphone that looks like the HTC One M8 and the camera focuses on the photo of a smartphone.

The HTC One M8 has dual camera setup at the back and its main camera has 4-UltraPixel resolution and the second camera on the back can capture with details like refocusing images and background detection could work much better because of it. Some believes that the company will not release a new phone since it just unveiled its new HTC Desire 820 on its pre-IFA 2014 event and the new HTC Desire phone does not have the duo feature.

However, recent reports claims that HTC might unveil its HTC Eye. According to GSMArena, famous tipster @upleaks tweeted that HTC is working on a new smartphone codenamed "Eye". @uplaeks also claims that HTC Eye also has 0P6B model number and could sport a 5.2-inch FHD display with a 1,080p resolution and to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

Another Report coming from CNET is that HTC is still working on its wearable device and could release it in early 2015. CNET believes that the company is is building a smartwatch that will offer a good design that the company is already known for, but HTC declined to comment about it. According to CNET's source, HTC will not unveil the smartwatch on the Oct. 8 event. But it still believes that the smartwatch will still be released in the near future.

There are no further information or photos to validate the leaks, but since HTC sent out invitations, the company might certainly be preparing for something new for its consumers.
