The Green Bay Packers have yet struggled yet again to start the season. On Sunday, they’ll be facing a Chicago Bears squad which is aiming for a third consecutive win in Week 4 action of the 2014 National Football League (NFL) regular season.

The Packers struggle mirrors that of star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who had his worst passing game as a Packer in recent memory. Rodgers had 162 passing yards and completed 16-of-27 passes.

For the Bears, quarterback Jay Cutler has played well in the early stretch of the season with 8 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Both the Packers and Bears lost in their season openers but while Green Bay has settled for a split in the last two, Chicago has bounced back with back-to-back wins.

The Bears know Rodgers will want his own bounce back after struggling in his last game.

“He’s Aaron Rodgers,” Bears cornerback Tim Jennings said via the team’s official website. “He’s going to make all the throws, make those plays. You’ve just got to minimiSe some of the stuff he likes to do, get to the quarterback, make him feel rattled and come up with some takeaways.”

While the Bears have a better win-loss record, they’d be hosting the Packers on Sunday with a few key players out of commission. They’ll be missing cornerback Charles Tillman (torn right triceps) for the saxon

Others listed as inactive for Sunday’s match-up are CB Sherrick McManis, LB Shea McClellin, C Roberto Gaz, G Matt Slauson, DE Jared Allen, T Charles Leno and DT Jeremiah Ratliff for the Bears; and WR Jarret Boykin, WR Randall Cobb, CB Demetri Goodson, LB Carl Bradford, LB Brad Jones and C Garth Gerhart for the Packers.

The Packers vs. Bears rivalry is the longest running in the league. They will meet for the 187th time in the history with Chicago having the slight edge, 92 wins to 82 losses against their NFC North rivals.

The Bears have lost 7 of the last 8 match-ups in the rivalry however. Rodgers had 318 passing yards on 25-of-39 completions with 2 touchdowns to lead his team to a 33-28 victory in Chicago in their last meeting. Cutler meanwhile has historically struggled against the Packers with 11 touchdowns and 18 interceptions in 10 match-ups with Green Bay in his career.
