Another bombing rocks the city while the leaders struggle to reposition themselves just as they are still rocked with ongoing events on this upcoming episode of “Designated Survivor.”

Spoiler alert! This article contains “Designated Survivor” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the next episode airs.

After several episodes where everyone had been putting Tom Kirkman’s presidency in question, this week looked closely into the former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development making tough decisions that would define his leadership skills while he goes through a crisis.

Mr President (Kiefer Sutherland) will have his well deserved sigh of relief after the government gets its hands on a leader of a terrorist group who call themselves Al-Sakar. The leader is named Majid Nassar and claims that he was responsible for the terror attack on the Capitol. While this is what he claims, viewers of the show of course know that this guy is just taking the blame for someone else who actually did it.

This week, viewers will see FBI Agent Hannah Wells (Maggie Q) stumble upon a stunning discovery. That will be Congressman Peter MacLeish (Ashely Zukerman) knew all this time that the Capitol was being bombed and that he hid in a recently constructed bomb shelter inside the building just moments before the bomb exploded.

While the show might be taking a break this week, according to its official ABC page, it seems like the break will be worth it as the next episode has a lot to give out. The latest teaser reveals that Aaron (Adan Canto) and Emily (Italia Ricci) will try to convince Congressman MacLeish to take the empty slot for Vice President after he had declined becoming Speaker of the House. While in the Governor’s Ball, President Kirman will rally in support behind him to encourage an election but all of a sudden, another big explosion rocks the building just as those in attendance begin to look upon him with confidence.

How this explosion will affect President Kirkman’s leadership and other implications will be revealed when Season 1 Episode 6 of “Designated Survivor” will air on November 9 at 10 p.m. on ABC. It also airs on Netflix US and Australia.
