Season 5 of “Orphan Black” will continue with the stories of Tatiana Maslany’s many different characters on the show. All the clones will have all their endings when the season finale ends. Maslany plays eight different characters on the show and she has recently revealed that of all these, her favourites are Helena and Allison since she can do strange things with them.

Some of the endings will be reportedly devastating while some will have happy conclusions. Season 5 is going to deal closely with each of the clones and build them up until the show ends. It has also been reported that Graeme Manson and Jordan Gavarin have hinted that Season 5 will introduce a new branch of contemporary science. There are no longer going to be more clones added, but a unique genetic copy is going to be seen by viewers.

Creators are still in the process of picking a theme for the episode titles for the fifth season of the show which will come after all of them are written, according to TV Line. As for their decision to conclude the show next year, it has always been part of the plan to conclude it while they are still on top. Manson had revealed earlier that they have always had five season in mind for the show and they do not want to get soft around the middle. The team thinks that it would more practical for the show to “cancel itself” rather than get cancelled out by the channel.

Even Tatiana Maslany who stars in the show has no idea yet as to how the show will end, but producers have always known how the show will end and Maslany might have to work even harder before reaching the end. It has also been reported that they could feature as many as 12 clones in one scene.

“Orphan Black” will return on TV for its fifth and final season on April 2017. The show airs on BBC America in the US and on Syfy Channel in Australia.
