"Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" from Treyarch will be released on Nov. 6. Activision

“Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” has been enjoying the positive reception of fans since its launch last November. In fact, in the recently concluded Black Friday 2015 sales, it appeared to be the best-selling game.

In terms of video game sales, VentureBeat reported that “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” ranked the highest, topping off the likes of “Minecraft,” “Fallout 4,” “NBA 2K16” and even “Halo 5: Guardians.” One of the main driving points for this may have been the numerous discounted bundles as well as a push from retailers like Walmart for both PS4/Xbox One and PS3/Xbox 360 versions of the game.

Even with the success, developer Treyarch is far from finished with improving “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” An update is set for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of the game. The new update will deal with the different exploits of the game, though Charlie Intel reported that Treyarch has not yet specified what these will be.

Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar’s tweet on the matter appear to point to the Gun Game issue, which sees Cryptokeys being farmed. Vonderhaar referred to the exploit that ruins other people’s fun in playing “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.”

“Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” fans can also explore the technical aspects of the game at the PlayStation Experience 2015. According to the PlayStation Blog, Treyarch will be discussing the creation of its latest “COD” title.

One of the focus of the discussion is the cooperative campaign of the game. “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” makes use of A.I. to change the flow of combat and level design. More than this year’s “Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 3,” the studio will be looking at how the A.I. technology can actually shape future iterations of the game.

The discussion, titled “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3: Unlocking the Potential of A.I.” will be held on Dec. 5, Saturday, 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time. Those who are attending the event can head over to the Moscone West Hall, third floor for the panel. Four key representatives from Treyarch will be there, including Senior Designer Gary Stelmack, Senior Software Engineer Sumeet Jakatdar, Lead Animator Yanick Lebel and Lead Writer Craig Houston, all of whom have worked on “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.”
