Amidst all the criticisms that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been receiving lately, Aaron Ramsey revealed that the squad has not lost their faith on the French mentor.

The north London outfit are currently occupying the sixth spot in the Premier League and have been in inconsistent form throughout the ongoing campaign. It is far from what is expected of them by loyal supporters, who believe that the Gunners should be automatic contenders for any and all silverwares available given the quality of their roster.

Nevertheless, a morale boosting victory against Galatasaray on Wednesday in the Champions League was something to build from.

"It was important to bounce back from that defeat and we did that," said Ramsey.

"Every player here wants to work hard for [the manager], we proved that again on Tuesday night."

"He has been under some unfair criticism, but we are all out there, we are in it together. We wanted to get the result for us and for him."

"I think whenever we go into a game, he knows our qualities, always believes in us and gives us a great feeling for matches."

"Every time we go out there we are representing ourselves, our club and our manager."

The 23-year-old Welshman scored what could be the goal of the season this term in Europe's top-tier, striking the ball first time following a corner from distance.

"I have seen it back, and it is definitely the best I have scored," he continued.

"As soon as I hit it, I thought it had a chance of going in and thankfully it went into the top corner.

"I like playing in Istanbul - I have scored a few goals here now and I would like to play here every week if I could!"
