'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Mid-Season Finale Episode Promo Video Released, Kai Reunites With Family During The Holidays [WATCH VIDEO]

A promo video for "The Vampire Diaries" mid-season finale episode has been released to tease that the holiday season is not going to be a pleasant one for the Mystic Falls gang. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 10 titled "Christmas Through Your Eyes" is expected to show whether Bonnie (Kat Graham) goes home or not and determine whether Kai (Chris Wood) succeeds with his evil plan.

The upcoming episode is also expected to reveal where Damon and Elena's relationship truly stand. The promo video begins with Elena telling Damon, who is still trying to win her heart back, that the mistletoe at the door is a clever move.

The next teaser scene shows Kai declaring that it is nice to be around family during the holidays as he looks at his siblings Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), Luke (Chris Brochu) and Liv (Penelope Mitchell). Another person causing tension and trouble in the CW TV series is Enzo (Michael Malarkey).

In "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 9, Matt (Zach Roerig) vowed to kill Enzo after the Augustine vampire killed Sarah/Monique (Gabrielle Walsh). However, the promo video teased the tables have turned as Matt appears to be Enzo's captive in Tripp's (Colin Ferguson) van.

"You are going to help me deplete every ounce of happiness from Stefan's life. Oh, and happy holidays," Enzo tells Matt before shutting the door. Watch the promo video below.

The upcoming episode's synopsis in a Carter Matt report teased that Bonnie will spend the holidays alone by replicating her favorite traditions and remembering the happy times she had with her friends. Jo goes missing so Alaric (Matt Davis) turns to Damon and Elena for help in finding his girlfriend.

After Kai approached Tyler (Michael Trevino) and asked if he would like to make a deal with him in order to save Liv's life, Tyler approaches Liv and Luke with a risky plan making the witch twins find themselves at odds. Lastly, Stefan (Paul Wesley) will be forced to deliver some devastating news to Caroline (Candice Accola).

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 will return with episode 10 titled "Christmas Through Your Eyes" on Thursday night, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
