Juventus have reportedly tabled a bid for FC Barcelona attacker Pedro Rodriguez, according to Italian source Tuttosport.

While the 27-year-old is a product of the famed La Masia academy, it seems apparent that new manager Luis Enrique is tending to shift his focus on the younger generation at the Nou Camp.

Munir El Haddadi (19), Sergi Roberto (22), and Sergi Samper (19), among others, got the starting nod during Barca's opening fixture in the Champions League, while Sandro Ramirez (19) and Rafinha (21) came off the bench.

Pedro is, without a doubt, a top-clas talent and has earned vast invaluable experiences both at club and international level. However, his first-team participation with the Blaugrana might be in jeopardy given the current trend, more so when Luis Suarez will have already served his suspension.

The Santa Cruz de Tenerife native has a suggested market value of £22million, and any team who will be able to snatch him from Catalonia will definitely have an improved attacking line.

His tally of 15 goals and 10 assists in the La Liga last season speaks for itself.
