The agent of Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale revealed that there is no truth to circulating rumours that the Welsh superstar could head back to the Premier League via a swap involving Chelsea or Manchester United.

Numerous sources from around Europe suggest that either Eden Hazard or Angel di Maria may be in the mix, depending on which club will be willing to commence transaction.

Bale's absence in four consecutive fixtures in all competitions before he came on as a substitute in the 1-0 Champions League win against Liverpool sparked speculations that Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelloti has found a better option in summer acquisition James Rodriguez, who occupied the former Spurs man's spot at the right side of the flanks, producing 3 goals and 2 assists in the process. However, David Mannaseh went on record to prove false such claims.

"Rubbish, these rumours about a swap are absolute rubbish," he told CalcioMercato.

"It is not true that Bale wants to return to the Premier League, everything is going well for him in Madrid and he wants to continue wearing the Real shirt."

Apparently, it was just a hamstring problem that kept the 25-year-old sidelined, claiming back his spot and netting the first goal against Rayo Vallecano, in which they went on to dominate with a 5-1 scoreline.
