Like “The Revenant” star Leonardo DiCaprio, “Thor: Ragnarok” actor Chris Hemsworth is now one of the ambassadors of the luxury Swiss watch label TAG Heuer. Recently, he took his first photos for the label wearing a Carrera Heuer 01 model with a thick white strap.

The announcement of Hemsworth as the newest international ambassador of Tag Heuer was made on Dec. 1, Tuesday. In a statement obtained by Us Weekly, the luxury Swiss watch label said the “Thor: Ragnarok” star was chosen to represent the brand because of his “international profile, professionalism, and authenticity.”

Aside from DiCaprio and Hemsworth, Titanium singer David Guetta, Real Madrid footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and the New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady are also male celebrity ambassadors of TAG Heuer. “Suicide Squad” actress Cara Delevingne is one of the female ambassadors of the luxury Swiss watch label.

“I have the Carrerra or the Monaco that I wear when I'm surfing and swimming,” E! News quoted Hemsworth as saying. The TAG Heuer Carrera Heuer 01 was recently introduced at Baselworld 2015 while the TAG Heuer was introduced in 1969 in honour of the Monaco Grand Prix.

When it comes to his style, Hemsworth said his wife Elsa Pataky, who is one of the stars of “Furious 7,” influences him “in a big way.” The “Thor: Ragnarok” star said his wife is a “definite style maker” so he needs her opinion in terms of his fashion statement.

After starring in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Vacation,” the actor will star in Ron Howard’s “In the Heart of the Sea,” which will hit theatres on Dec. 3 in Australia.

In 2016, Hemsworth will star in “Ghostbusters” and “The Hunstman Winter’s War.” In 2017, he will reprise his role in “Thor: Ragnarok” opposite “Blindspot” star Jaimie Alexander as Lady Sif and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk.
