Arsenal has been reported to establish a link with the international transfer as they are rumoured to have St Etienne's skipper Loic Perrin to become a part of their team. In fact, there have been a lot of publishers and analysts who have been eyeing Arsenal's solid move on the skipper. Steve Stammer from The Mirror reported earlier that Arsenal is about to launch a surprise for St Etienne's Perrin as the latter expressed how he is comfortable playing at the right back of Arsenal.

According to Wenger, having Perrin in their team would definitely boost their defence at the right back. This is in consideration of the fact that of all seasons, Arsenal has received a series of injuries at their right back, which caused a great impact to the team's performance. They don't want this to happen when playing for the championships at the Premier League and Perrin seemed to be the solution.

Among the qualities of Perrin which caught the eye of the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is his versatility during every game. Loic Perrin has been reported to cost around 6 million pounds. Furthermore, it was reported that Arsenal is more than willing to get Perrin in the team at that price contrary to the false rumour about Arsenal to sign up a player in the amount of 62 million pounds.

Perrin is available and up for grabs just in time for Champions League. This availability of Perrin is so timely considering that the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is looking for a defender and a midfielder come January with the intention of offloading a few fringe players in order to recoup money. With Arsenal's January plans, Perrin seems to be the most ideal guy. Perrin can also play in the midfield role and therefore is an ideal fit in Wenger's January plans.

In a report from Get French Football News, there has yet been no contract inked between St Etienne co-president Bernard Caiazzo for Loic Perrin and the Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger regarding Perrin's January transfer. According to Caiazzo, Arsenal and St Etienne have long standing good relations and that if the Arsenal boss is really interested in Perrin, Wenger would have no doubt spoken to him about the player's transfer.
