When Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got back together earlier this year, their relationship received plenty of media attention. Despite this, the two have seemed very happy to be together again, which might change as Liam apparently caught Miley texting one of her exes.

Life & Style Magazine has reported that there is trouble in paradise. Apparently, Miley and her ex-boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger have been getting in touch again. "Miley keeps saying it was one-sided and she doesn’t care about Patrick at all anymore," a source of the publication said. "But Liam is worried Miley isn’t being up front."

The same source goes on to say that Liam has every reason to be married, as the “Hannah Montana” star was very much in love with Patrick, who would “love to have Miley back in his life.”

These speculations surrounding Miley’s life are part of why the 23-year-old has started to cut herself away from mainstream Hollywood.

In a very honest interview with Elle -- as are all her interviews -- Miley discussed just why it was important for her to walk away a little. In her ten years working in the business, she realised just how plenty of people around her were “doing it.” The term, as Miley uses it, is not a compliment. Rather, it means to describe people who surround her simply because of her popularity.

And as she decided, one way to cut out a vast majority of these people was to simply cut herself away from the required appearances at different promotional tours and television shows. Miley’s refusal to employ a publicist and only share her life via Instagram are completely her choice. Despite this choice, which is almost unheard of in Hollywood, Miley has stayed relevant because of her strong personality.

Miley is the newest judge on the 11th season of ABC’s “The Voice.” The show, which will air on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. in the US , will premiere on Sept. 19
