Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones will finally settle the score in the upcoming UFC 182 on Jan. 3 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the days leading up to the much-awaited fight night, both fighters are already mud-slinging and upping the stakes for the much-hyped bout. After all, both fighters were sanctioned for instigating an all-out brawl during their stare down and photo shoot at Las Vegas last August. Now with just days away before the "Bad Blood" match, "Bones" is starting to gauge the ability of his challenger.

In a recent interview, Jones reveals that fighting Cormier is comparable to his previous opponent, Chael Sonnen. The light heavyweight champion expounds on the declaration by saying Cormier is similar to Sonnen who does a lot of talking and makes people believe in what he has to say wtih little actual power to show for. While the polarizing champion went out of his way to say the Cormier is a skilled fighter which attributes to his undefeated record, he did not hold sway when the Olympian imagined an ecounter with Jones and wishing that "they would let me next door so I could spit in your f**king face." Jones was more to the point in his latest comments and inferred that his challenger will be exposed with his all-talk attitude.

"He reminds me of Chael Sonnen when he says things like that," Jones told MMA Fighting. "No disrespect to Chael. Big fan of Chael, I really developed a respect for Chael. But Chael was very good at the antics and saying things that just aren't true. For him to say he's going to make it look easy, I know for a fact he doesn't believe that in his heart."

Mixed martial arts fans will not have to wait long before the two forces collide in the Octagon. Apart from the fight, Fox Sports and the UFC has teamed up to deliver a special, leading up to the match entitled "Bad Blood: Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier," which will debut Sunday at FOX Sports 1. The said television special will focus on the training and the path both men took leading up to their collision at UFC 182. Jones has been so adamant to put down his bitter rival that he has promised a brand new move that he will unleash to the delight of the fans.

@ShamawdChambers trust me I'll get him, been training something never pulled off in the octagon before
