Roy Hibbert scored 14 points and seven blocks while George Hill had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 96-84 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Hill, who missed the first 28 games of the season with a left knee contusion, guided the plays that helped the Pacers produce six players score in double figures. David West had 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Solomon Hill added 13 points, CJ Miles added 11 points and six rebounds and C.J. Watson scored 10 points.

The Pelicans got six points each from in the first quarter Luke Babbitt and Jrue Holiday to take a 26-24 lead over the Pacers, which got seven point from Miles and six from West. The second quarter was fought closely with five ties--the last at 40-all with 3:58 left. The Pacers silenced the Pelicans from there, forcing 11 misses with Hibbert blocking three shots. Hibbert and Miles each had a basket as the Pacers took a 44-40 lead at the half.

The Pacers used a 13-2 run to establish a 65-53 lead late in the third. Hill scored eight of the Pacers first 12 points in the fourth, to keep the Pelicans at bay and take an 82-70 lead with 6:56 left.

An Anthony Davis layup ignited an 8-2 Pelicans run and close in within five at 87-82. But Watson and Hill scored four each in a 9-2 Pacers blast to finish off the Pelicans. It was the Pacers' third win in their last five games after losing eight straight. Anthony Davis finished with 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the Pelicans but shot only eight from 18. Davis noted that the Pacers were a physical team and that the pelicans were pushed around. Tyreke Evans finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Jrue Holiday added 16 points, five rebounds and five assists in the loss.
The Pelicans shot 39 percent from the field and 20 percent from the 3-point line. They also dished out only 15 assists. Pelicans coach Monty Williams noted that his team didn't share the ball well, especially during transition.
