The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday night saw many celebrity kids walk the Orange carpet with their parents. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' daughter Suri Cruise was seen smiling and happy with her mommy while Angelina Jolie's girls Zahara, 10 and Shiloh, 8, hugged her tightly as she won an award at the show. The event also saw many celebrities, including band members from 5Seconds of Summer, getting slimed with a traditional green stuff.

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay took his wife and two teenage daughters Megan, 16 and Matilda, 13 to attend the event. Victoria and David Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn, 16 came along with his younger brothers Romeo, 12 and Cruz, 10 to attend the award show. Their parents did not attend the show. The film “Annie's” star kid Quvenzhané Wallis was also present at the show in a beautiful white floral dress. Rose Rock and actor Chris Rock were other celebrities who attended the event along with their daughters Zahra Savannah Rock and Lola Simone Rock.

The event also marked the first ever public appearance of Jolie after she announced last week that she has undergone yet-another preventive surgery. The 39-year-old actress had her ovaries removed to prevent ovarian cancer. Jolie was given the Kid's Choice award for Best Villain for her role in the film, “Maleficent.” She also delivered an inspiring speech for kids on stage.

“I want to say when I was little, like Maleficent, I was told that I was different — and I felt out of place, and too loud, too full of fire, never good at sitting still, never good at fitting in. And then one day I realised something, something I hope you all realise. Different is good,” Jolie said during her acceptance speech as her two daughters watched on, according to a YouTube video.

Jolie told the kids that it is fine if you “don’t fit in” and asked them not to do “less than you are.” She also advised kids to be proud of who you are and “cause a little trouble,” as it is “good for them.” The actress wore a beautiful black gown by Versace.
