Serena Williams and Caroline Wozniacki had a girl night out at a fashion awards event in New York City. The tennis stars looked impeccably styled in their fancy dresses and makeup at the said social event.

According to Mail Online, Williams and Wozniacki attended the 11th Annual CFDA Vogue Fashion Fun Awards held at Spring Studios. Williams was wearing a midnight blue stretch satin crepe plunging V-neck gown from the ZAC Zac Posen Resort 2015 Collection. Wozniacki, on the other hand, donned a brownish red long sleeve figure-hugging mini dress.

Since they last played at the WTA Finals in Singapore, Williams and Wozniacki had been spending so much time together. Wozniacki had been sharing photos of her little outings with Williams on Instagram.

Williams and Wozniacki went to see Mariah Carey’s concert in Singapore. They also went out with some of their other pals to watch the New York Rangers’ game. Williams also played the role of a supportive gal pal when Wozniacki joined the New York City marathon. The top-ranked female athlete was there to congratulate Woznacki at the finish line.

The tennis stars also visited Rockefeller Center’s famed ice skating rink. In the video that Wozniacki posted on Instagram, Williams was seen showing off her skating skills. “Last night at the Rockefeller ice skating rink, great times @serenawilliams showing off her pirouettes, I'm just trying to stay on my feet lol,” Wozniacki posted. Even Olympic figure-skating champion Michelle Kwan was impressed with Williams’ and even invited the tennis star to go skating sometime.

Williams and Wozniacki may be rivals in court, but they share a special bond off the tennis court. They have faced each other 11 times on the court, with the American winning all 10 matches. The only time that the Dane triumphed over Williams was in the quarterfinals of the Miami Masters in 2012.

Williams and Wozniacki’s first meeting was dated all the way back in 2009 in Sydney. In the 2014 season, the two unlikely besties had fought four times, including in the quarterfinals of Canadian Masters, semifinals of Cincinnati Masters, finals of the US Open, and the semifinals of the WTA Championships.
