Toilets are associated with dirt and filth because it in those porcelain bowls where people pass out their solid and liquid body waste for sanitary purposes. But what if a restaurant decides to use toilet bowl-shaped containers to serve noodles and other Asian dishes in it, would you dare dine in such kind of establishment?

The Magic Restroom Café, located at 18558 Gale Ave, No 222, City of Industry, Los Angeles, California, does that. The restaurant, owned by new restaurateur YoYo Li from China, adapted the restroom theme which she replicated from similar successful dining establishments in China and Taiwan.

YoYo brought in Taiwanese chefs with almost 30 years of cooking experience to prepare the restaurant's top-rated menu such as the $9.95 magic curry rice and the $7.96 ground pork with rice.

The toilet theme does not end with bowls where the food is served. It also followed the Taiwan-based Modern Toilet Restaurant's interior of providing toilet seats instead of the usual chair while dining.

But here's the catch: majority of the toilet seats in the dining area are the squat toilet type used in Taiwan and China, although there are some Western-type seats.

While seated on the throne, diners are offered standard Taiwanese dishes such as tofu, oyster omelets, beef noodle soup and pork over rice.

In its review of this unique restaurant, the Los Angeles Times pointed out that the establishment could be a good place for a fun meal with friends who can withstand this kind of joke. If they are game, better bring a camera for those selfies and groupies to post on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social networking sites.

The restaurant is just is on a soft opening. The grant launch would be held sometimes in late October.

We are just wondering, if the seats in the dining hall are toilet bowls, what would be the seats in the real loo - could it be shaped instead like a regular dining chair or is it ergonomically designed like computer chairs?
