“Under the Dome” is returning with new twists and Marg Helgenberg. The actress will be introduced in the premiere episode of Season 3 as anthropologist Christine Price who may be responsible for some of the new calamities that are going to take place.

The “Under the Dome” Season 3 episode 1 is set to show that some of the residents of Chester’s Mill have made their way out of the dome. However, Price is one of the residents who is still trapped under the dome. Speaking about her character in “Under the Dome” Season 3, Helgenberg told FOX411, “Christine is definitely strong and tough, but her mannerism has a light touch to it.” She also said that the character is “complex” and she has a number of sides.

Helgenberg described her character as someone who does not like taking no for an answer and is into “subtle manipulation.” Fox’s report revealed that Price came to Chester’s Mill with a mission and could not get out when the dome came down. As previously reported, Neal Baer, executive producer of the show, said that Price has been there in Chester’s Mill for a long time but will be introduced now. He called her the driving engine of “Under the Dome” Season 3.

Meanwhile, Christine will be seen opposed to Big Jim’s ideas of how things should run under the dome. Helgenberg told FOX411 that she and Dean Norris, who plays Big Jim on the series, did an episode together. They were in a cage together and could not touch each other because of a divider.

The two-hour long premiere episode of “Under the Dome” Season 3 airs on Thursday, June 25. Baer has said to the media that the new season will answer all the questions related to the dome, why it came down and what it is about. He indicated that there was something that was set in motion 25 years ago and brought the dome down in the present time. The resolution of the dome related mysteries does not mean things will return to normal, as the residents of Chester’s Mills will have to battle new troubles.
