Here's a toast to all Bryan Cranston's fans in celebration of Nielsen's announcement that AMC's "Breaking Bad" has grabbed the No. 1 spot in this season's "Top 10 Most Tweeted About TV Series."

"Breaking Bad" is followed by another AMC show "The Walking Dead," with ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars" landing in third.

According to Nielsen Social - which measures tweets in the U.S. from three hours before, during, and three hours after the TV episode has aired - conversations on Twitter concerning live TV in the U.S. have grown "dramatically" over the years.

During the second quarter of 2013 alone, 19 million people in the U.S. is said to have composed 263 million tweets about their favourite TV shows, quickly lifting Bryan Cranston's "Breaking Bad" up to the number one spot.

The Nielsen report said that during the "Breaking Bad" finale on Sep 29, 2013, the TV series captivated 9.1 million people on social media.

The cast had also been continuously mentioned. Aaron Paul, playing Jesse Pinkman in the series, got 51,000 @aaronpaul_8 mentions on Twitter while Bryan Cranston, playing Walter White, got 19,000 @BryanCranston Twitter mentions.

The average number of tweets for the 'Bad' drama series is 521 with 6,026 average audiences per episode. A tweet from Nielsen's Twitter account @Nielsen, referring to the most tweeted show and most social savvy TV series, can be seen at the bottom of this article.

Meanwhile, "The Voice" has also broken record on May 13, 2014, creating a special TV moment when the reality TV show's fans were able to produce 1.92 million tweets in one episode airing.

Nielsen revealed that #VoiceSave was mentioned in 1.5 million tweets during the May 13 episode, wherein Christina Grimmie, the third placer of the show, was saved from elimination against Kat Perkins and Kristen Merlin.

"The Voice" fans have also set a record of 310,000 tweets in one minute at 8:59 p.m. ET while the episode was airing.
