Last September 15, HRH Prince Henry of Wales, popularly known as Prince Harry celebrated his 30 birthday. The once party animal has now turned into an eligible bachelor.

His brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton were planning a party, but Harry decided not to have a grand celebration. His birthday was a quiet affair with just his family and friends, he did this because Middleton was suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarium and he wanted her to rest at this phase of her pregnancy.

He even said that since the Duchess of Cambridge was suffering from an acute form of morning sickness, it would be "inappropriate to celebrate without her." The party was rescheduled to a later date.

According to the reports by The Independent, an insider has revealed that though this birthday was an important milestone in Harry's life he thought it was best to postpone it. The insider also stated that Kate was planning his birthday and once she fell ill, he did not feel it was right to go ahead with the party, without her. The party will be rescheduled to a date when it would be possible for everyone to make it.

Though his 30 birthday party was small, Harry got a really big gift; he inherited $16 million from his late mother, Princess Diana's estate. Prince Harry has become mature and more like his mother over the years. Days before his birthday, Harry was working with the Invictus Games, a Paralympic-style event for the wounded and sick veterans.

He was highly influenced by his mother and takes part in a lot of charities just like she used to. CBS News reported that the Royal insiders state that she had a great impact on her youngest son. Royal commentator Roya Nikka said, "I think he thinks a lot about his mother, her legacy and what she would have wanted her children to have done."

He supports children's charities in Africa and also supported an event, Walking With the Wounded in South Pole, earlier this year. He travelled to the place of the event to support the charity held to benefit several wounded military veterans from the U.K., Canada, Australia and the United States. He has a heart of gold and his actions have always reflected his good intentions.

Price Harry was an army officer since 2006 and is a captain of the British army. He has made remarkable achievements in his military service. In 2011, Harry qualified to fly the Apache combat helicopter. A commendable achievement as only 3 per cent of army pilots qualify. He now serves as a pilot and gunner.

His current earnings as captain in the army is between £38,847 and £46,198 a year.

Noted Royal family Biographer, Penny Junor rightly titled his biography, "Prince Harry: Brother, Soldier, Son."
