An NFL tradition continues on Thursday Night Football as a trio of games are scheduled Nov. 27 all of which have major implications on the current season’s race for playoff spots. Rivalries are once again renewed for the NFL Thanksgiving Games this season as the Chicago Bears face the Detroit Lions, the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks battle it out against the San Francisco 49ers.

Chicago Bears (5-6) vs. Detroit Lions (7-4) at 12:30PM ET

The Bears struggled in the first half of the season but have won back-to-back games (vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings) to stay in postseason contention. They are looking for their third straight win against a Lions squad which is looking to snap a two-game skid (vs. New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals). Chicago is two games back off Detroit in the NFC North, which is led by the Green Bay Packers (8-3). A loss by Chicago will put them in a very tough situation as the season winds down but a win will give them some hope of at least aiming for a wild card spot. Detroit wants the W badly to stay in pace with others aiming for the wild card like the Seahawks and 49ers who safe the same 7-4 record.

Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) vs. Dallas Cowboys (8-3) at 4:30AM ET

The Eagles and Cowboys are tied at 8-3 of the top spot in the NFC East. Philadelphia currently owns the tiebreaker between the two squads owing to superior record against teams in the division. The teams meet again on Dec. 14 in Week 15. Philadelphia are winners of there of its last four outings— the lone loss coming agains the surging Packers. Meanwhile, Dallas has bounced back from back-to-back losses by responding with back-to-back wins against the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants.

Seattle Seahawks (7-4) vs. San Francisco 49ers (7-4) at 8:30AM ET

Seattle has won the last three of four meetings against San Francisco and the Seahawks are also winners of four of its last five games. The 49ers want to bounce back from a disappointing home loss to the lowly Washington Redskins in their last game. Both the Seahawks and 49ers are two games back off NFC leaders Cardinals. A loss for either team will be crucial considering six teams have similar records and battling for the two wildcard spots in the conference.
