Nexus 4 current and future owners can now accessorize their smart phone because Google added three new but simple accessories alongside the Wireless Charging Orb and bumper cases. The new three Nexus 4 accessories are the wired headset, USB charger and microUSB cable and these items are all available for purchasing at the Google Play Store.

The Google Play Store offers the Nexus 4 wired headset with microphone at a price of $20 with a tangle-free wire. The Nexus 4 USB charger costs $16 while the 4-foot Nexus 4 microUSB cable is worth $10.

Meanwhile, another accessory is made available for the Google Nexus 4. The Fantom 4 Glass Screen Protector will aid in keeping the smart phone screen free from scratches and smudges. "Xgear" offers the new Nexus 4 screen protector where it is not made of a clear adhesive film but it is a genuine glass sheet.

Fantom 4 Glass Screen Protector is a shatter and scratch resistant thin sheet composed of a special coating that helps in keeping fingerprints off the Nexus 4 screen display. The glass is currently available with a black border and the white border version will be reportedly available very soon.

The Fantom 4 glass sheet is measured at 0.4 mm thickness with slanting edges therefore there is still a possibility for the Nexus 4 to easily slide in and out of the pocket even though the screen protector is already attached to the Google smart phone. Unfortunately, Xgear did not provide a case that could protect the screen edges if the smart phone falls down.

Fantom 4 Glass Screen Protector was given the surface hardness rating of 8H. The new Google Nexus 4 smart phone screen protector is also now available and can be purchased for a price of $34.99.
