Yes you are the biggest fan of Mick Jagger and The Rolling Stones, but if you have the money to bid for the legendary frontman's hair, what would you do with it?

Diehard fans can start bidding for Mick Jagger's hair on July 3rd at Bonham's Auction House in London. The hair, enclosed in a small paper envelope with the inscription "Mick Jagger's hair after being washed + trimmed by Chris at Rose Hill Farm," is expected to fetch between $2,300 and $3,100.

Jagger's lock of hair is being sold by Chrissie Shrimpton, the younger sister of his model ex-girlfriend, Jean Shrimpton. According to Bonham's website, the lock of hair was saved by Shrimpton's grandmother when the couple was staying at her parent's farm.

"Apparently, on her grandmother's death, the hair passed to Chrissie's aunt and when she died, the hair was returned to Chrissie by a cousin taking care of personal effects," the website adds.

Although peculiar as it may seem, proceeds for the sale of Mick Jagger's hair will be donated to the charity, Changing Faces.

Meanwhile, he and his bandmates are expected to make public appearances in the UK starting this month until July. The Rolling Stones will be headlining this year's Glastonbury on Saturday, June 29.

According to NME, "the band will perform for over two hours when they headline the Saturday night of the festival."

After Glastonbury, the Stones will perform at Hyde Park in London on July 6 and 13.
