Tennis royalty Maria Sharapova's list of off-court side hustles is increasingly growing. Sharapova was recently in New York City to promote SuperGoop, a skincare company that she partially holds ownership.

According to the Daily Mail, Sharapova was at Sephora 5th Avenue in New York City on Aug. 18. The tennis superstar and savvy businesswoman came in a figure-hugging sleeveless tangerine outfit with dipping décolletage and flared midi skirt. She chose a certain shade of lipstick that went totally well with her orange dress. Sharapova let her bright buttery blonde hair flowing over her shoulders.

In April, it was announced that Sharapova was the new co-owner of SuperGoop. Holly Thaggard, who is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the skincare company, made the official announcement on its website. Sharapova not only serves as the co-owner but also the ambassador. Thaggard stated that Sharapova has an "authentic voice" that could help the company spread the importance of the daily use of skincare products especially when out under the sun.

In an interview with Vogue, Sharapova has revealed that she has always been a fan of SuperGoop even before she met Thaggard. She has used the products for several years while playing in tournaments and training under the sun in Florida. Sharapova added that she knew the importance of using sunscreen given that fact that she was always getting out and staying under the sun for a long period of time. The use of sunscreen products has always been helpful for Sharapova to keep her skin healthy.

"When I met Holly, her message was such an important one, raising awareness and making sure that many people are knowledgeable about skin cancer, that is the leading cancer in the U.S., and that it's preventable," Sharapova told Vogue.

SuperGoop especially highlights skin's protection under the sun, in addition to its other anti-aging skincare products. According to previous reports, SuperGoop's campaign will run around the time of the 2014 US Open, which is the time of the year where most people are putting their sun care products away.
