Kate Upton Tops Google’s Most Searched Model Of 2014, Followed By Kendall Jenner And More

Search engine giant Google has recently revealed the most searched people, celebrities, places, trends and topics in 2014. Among the personalities who topped the Google's year in search include Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton, who is the most searched model in 2014.

Style.com is the one of the first outlets to report about Google's annual year in search. The entertainment website specifically made a request to Google to rank the most searched models in 2014. Surprisingly, Upton beat the likes of Gisele Bundchen (the world's highest-paid supermodel) and Kendall Jenner (who has the most number of followers in social media -- 16.3 Instagram followers and 9.29 Twitter followers).

Upton has had quite a year. The 22-year-old blonde bombshell landed her first major acting role in the comedy flick "The Other Woman" alongside Leslie Mann and Cameron Diaz. She also found new romance in Detroit Tigers star pitcher Justin Verlander. In addition, Upton has been selected as the new face of Bobbi Brown. She also appeared in Grammy Award-winning band Lady Antebellum's music video for the song "Bartender."

However, Upton has also been dragged in a massive celebrity hacking scandal, wherein intimate pictures of her with Verlander were released for the world to see. Despite the outrage and humiliation that the scandal had brought her and her beau, Upton kept mum on the issue until it finally died down.

Recently, Upton was also named the Sexiest Woman Alive by People Magazine. Upton said that it was an honour for her to be given the award because being sexy for her means someone who is "confident and happy." She personally accepted the award at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on Dec. 18.
