Serie A champions Inter Milan are reportedly desperate to off-load Alexis Sanchez during the winter window in January.

As many as three clubs are interested in signing Sanchez -- Marseille, Real Betis and Sevilla, reported Italian publication CalcioMercato.

Inter Milan are currently experiencing a massive financial crisis and want to get rid of Sanchez, whose annual wage is around $8 million, according to soccer media outlet Inter Live. The report has also revealed that the former Manchester United forward is willing to accept a pay cut in order to leave the San Siro side.

After missing the opening two Serie A fixtures due to a muscle issue, Sanchez returned for their away match against Sampdoria but remained an unused substitute. While he has featured in Inter Milan’s last three Serie A matches, he is yet to start a game and has spent less than an hour on the field so far in the 2021-22 campaign.

Last season Sanchez netted seven goals and as many assists in 30 Serie A appearances for Inter Milan. But he also missed eight matches due to various injuries as the Italian club went on to clinch their first league title in a decade. The duo of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez shone for Inter Milan in 2020-21, scoring a total of 30 and 19 goals respectively, across all competitions.

Sanchez, who first moved from Manchester United to Inter Milan on loan in the 2019-20 season, became a permanent member of the Italian club in the summer of 2020. In 73 competitive appearances, Sanchez has so far netted 11 goals and 19 assists for Inter Milan.

Due to their financial crisis, Inter Milan parted ways with Lukaku as well at the recently concluded 2021 summer market. The Belgian forward returned to Chelsea, the club where he had started his Premier League career in 2011. In seven appearances for Chelsea in the ongoing season, Lukaku has netted four goals. Out of the seven matches, Lukaku has started six, including five in the Premier League. With four wins, a draw and a loss, Chelsea are currently placed third in the 2021-22 Premier League table.
