At the Grammy Awards 2016 red carpet, Meghan Trainor's new hair got Ryan Seacrest's attention. The "All About That Bass" hitmaker told the E! host her new red locks is for her new album, "Thank You."

UPDATE: Meghan Trainor has just won the Best New Artist trophy at the Grammy Awards 2016.

Best New Artist winner Meghan Trainor performed with 2016 MusiCares Person of the Year Lionel Richie, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Tyrese and Luke Bryan on the 58th Grammy Awards on Feb. 15 in Los Angeles. Here is a Grammy photo of the performers. Fans were able to watch the Grammys through its official streaming link here.

The 22-year-old pop diva arrived at the Grammy Awards 2016 red carpet with her dad, who gamely joked he'd be hitting the party scene after the awards night up to 1 a.m. The "cool dad" is in one of Trainor's latest Instagram posts, where she shares with fans some fond music memories from her childhood.

Trainor looked sophisticated with her new hair matched to a shiny, long black dress ensemble. Ahead of the Grammys, Trainor showed off her new hair in an Instagram post. [See the photo here.] She captions: "New album. New hair." The new hairstyle drew a mix of reactions from her nearly four million followers. It has so far drawn 170,000 "likes" and almost 6,000 comments.

At the Grammys red carpet, it was revealed that Meghan Trainor's new album "Thank You" has set a release date: March 4. Speaking to E! early this year, Trainor expressed she could hardly wait for her new album to come out.

"It kills you to hold these songs from the world, it really does. Especially, one of my songs, it's called "Thank You," which the album is called, Thank You, and it's a song to my fans. I want them to hear it now but I have to wait," the singer said.

Trainor's new red hair speaks of a new style that is far from her "All About That Bass" blonde look. This seems to hint that her new "Thank You" album and the Billboard hit "Title" would be different in many levels.

The 58th Grammy Awards Winners include Ed Sheeran and Amy Wadge for "Thinking Out Loud" (Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance), Taylor Swift (Best Pop Vocal Album, "1989") and Kendrick Lamar (Best Rap Album). The full list of nominees is available at the Grammy website.
