WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. of the U.S. speaks to reporters during a media day at the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, Nevada September 2, 2014. Mayweather will face Marcos Maidana of Argentina in a rematch at the MGM Grand Gard
Mayweather, who loves to brag about his riches on social media, is named the highest-paid athlete in the world. Even without endorsements, the unbeaten boxer managed to earn as much as $105 million. He is the only athlete, besides Tiger Woods, to hit the $100 million bracket. Mayweather’s revenue from his bouts against Canelo Alvarez amounting to $200 million and Marcos Maidana (with a guaranteed $32 million purse in May) was enough for him to secure the first place on the list. Hard Rock Hotel revealed that the Floyd Mayweather tipping story which was recently published by TMZ has no merit according to Eater Vegas.

Two days ago, TMZ reported that the undefeated professional boxer rang up a bill of $25,300 in food and drinks at Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, but he and his entourage didn't bother to leave a tip. The news came a few hours after he reportedly earned $32 million for defeating Marcos Maidana and remained undefeated.

Mayweather and Co.'s tab included

5 bottles of Patrone - $2,375

20 bottles of Luc Belaire Rose champagne - $11,500

3 Grey Goose - $1,425

6 bottles of Ciroc - $2,850

1 6-liter bottle of Luc Belaire Rose - $6,500

1 fruit platter - $55

200 chicken wings - $600

The total bill is $25,305 according to waitress Nik Nguyen as reported by TMZ. Furthermore, the entourage of the American boxer, which included Jamie Foxx was allegedly throwing money at girls on stage but they didn't leave a tip for Nguyen who allegedly went the extra mile to provide excellent service.

Apparently, the Mayweather tipping story might not be true as Eater Vegas reached out to a representative of the Hard Rock Hotel, who revealed tha "there is no merit to this story."

Just recently, the Philadelphia Eagles star LeSean McCoy left a 20-cent tip for a $61.76 bill at Philadelphia burger joint PYT and the receipt that revealed the tip was put on Ebay and is now $100, 000 in value.

McCoy said that he left the measly amount and so based on the service of the waiter whom he called disrespectful.

"Not only do you get to keep a memento of weird current events/social media history but you also get an autograph from incredibly talented Philadelphia Eagles running back, LeSean McCoy!!!" the Ebay listing reads.

Apart from dragging out the tipping story of McCoy, the bill has another purpose.

"With your help we'll be able to leave the largest tip possible to all PYT employees for their hard work and dedication," the listing adds.
