Orlando Scandrick recently cancelled his engagement with reality star Draya Michele. “I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya. In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose. I am anxious to move on with my life both personally and professionally,” the Dallas Cowboys star told TMZ Sports.

Scandrick previously asked Draya to marry him in June 2015, presenting a huge diamond ring in the process. He proposed just one month after they broke up. Before the recent break up, they were dating for about two years. The two have actually been in an on-and-on relationship for a long time. This time, it was Scandrick who announced the news. It was interesting to note that the Dallas star looked for a publication to call off the engagement. Before, Draya was the one who always talked about their splits.

Before Scandrick called off the engagement, Draya shared her excitement over the wedding and even said that she was planning to invite Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys. Draya has not yet commented on the recent issue but posted a message on Instagram stating that a person can still change her situation.

The romance disappeared between the “Basketball Wives LA” star, 28, and the Cowboys cornerback, 30. Currently, Draya is reportedly very emotional and distraught. An insider said that the relationship was toxic and that the two should never have been together. The source described Scandrick as a “great man and father,” but they both just could not make the relationship work.

MadameNoire wrote that the couple are having very serious issues, so they either both have to work these out or just part ways permanently. Fans are still expecting the two to get back together, considering their several past breakups and reunions.
