Recently, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” has been confirmed by developer Treyarch as this year’s COD title. And even though April 26 is already a date marked by fans as the reveal date of the new game, there are already some new information about the title.

A new sighting comes from Gamingbolt, which reports that a YouTube user has delved into some research on “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” The research found that the soldiers this time will possess some cybernetic parts, giving them superior capabilities. The unit for the super soldiers will allegedly be called Evolved Variable Operator program or the EVO Program.

The capabilities of these cybernetics are similar to what was seen in “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.” But the key difference lies with exploring how much change the soldiers will be able to take before they become non-human themselves. The plot does go in line with what Treyarch has been recently teasing—cybernetics, microchip implants and some very interesting operations to enhance human power. Still, this should be taken with a grain of salt, at least until the reveal date by Treyarch.

The box art and description have also been spotted for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” PC Gamer has a snapshot of the cover, which shows a soldier bearing a very futuristic-looking armour and weapons. He is seated in the same way as the soldier in “Call of Duty: Black Ops,” with similar guns in hand.

The image was leaked via a Twitter user. But as far as being an official image, Treyarch has yet to reveal if it is indeed the box art that will be used for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.” Matching this is the description that the title is meant for next-gen hardware. There will be a new breed of Black Ops 3 soldiers, where the warfare is decided by who is goes further towards cutting-edge technology and robotics, reports Charlie Intel.

Apart from sightings of official details, one leak that requires confirmation from the developer is the possible inclusion of the Nintendo Wii U among the platforms for release. “Call of Duty” has seen installments that always involved the Nintendo Wii U. But last year’s title, “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” had only focused on next-gen consoles for its console release.

Now according to Nintendo Life, sightings via official “Call of Duty” website has included the Nintendo Wii U as one of the consoles, which can be linked to the player’s account. This console has been added apart from the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam accounts from last year’s iteration.

The sighting, however, is not confirmed until developer Treyarch confirms the involvement of the Nintendo Wii U in the list of consoles. The new rumour may be confirmed or debunked in the much-awaited April 26 reveal date, where more details on “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” are expected to be released to the public.
