In the fast-paced world of sports, fame, glory and sex often mix, along with booze and drugs.

However, there are some athletes who have maintained their purity despite the temptations of the world sportsmen face. One of them is Tim Tebow, American quarterback and formerly with the football teams Denver Broncos and New York Jets. Besides his MVP awards, Tebow is known for being outspoken about his Christian faith and practicing what he preaches, particularly kneeling and praying on one knee, now termed as tebowing.

It seems Tebow is not alone in his public profession of his faith. Prince Amukamara, cornerback of the New York Giants, is now being referred to as the black Tim Tebow.

Before he was drafted by the Giants in the 2011 NFL Draft, he was part of the Giants' Super Bowl championship team as a rookie and played college football for the University of Nebraska.

On Thursday, he disclosed to The Post that at 24, he is still a virgin and would remain that way until he marries.

It's not just sex that Amukamara is refraining from. He also told Muscle & Fitness magazine he does not drink alcoholic beverages.

Like Tim, who has a girlfriend named Calli Blaine Balzano, Prince is also in a longtime relationship with a woman named Pilar Davis. However, some New York women want to try and be the first to claim Prince's virginity.

When the New York Post reported on Prince's different outlook in life, it got a lot of "so what" responses from readers, but one commenter in the paper's blog section, Jacov Rodulescu supported the athlete, saying, "I was an athlete, surrounded by the women throwing themselves at young men ... I was a virgin when I got married, and I have been married to that same wonderful woman for 27 years. Men not living like bucks in rut is not a far fetched possibility."
